Muharram & Safar

Through our centres (250+), we uphold a cherished tradition of holding commemorative gatherings each year during the months of Muharram and Safar. These events are dedicated to honoring the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (a.s), the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w).

The tragedy of Karbala holds profound significance for preserving the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w). As part of our observances, we organize Majlis (gatherings) over the first 10 to 12 days of Muharram, culminating in the Majlis of Ashura. This is accompanied by peaceful marches on the 10th day of Muharram, as well as other smaller gatherings, including the Majlis marking the 40th day of the martyrs of Karbala.

These gatherings aim to educate and enlighten our community about the life and legacy of Imam Hussein (A.S) and his pivotal role in Islamic history. We believe that by understanding and reflecting on his sacrifice, we can deepen our commitment to the values and teachings of Islam.

"Is there anyone to help us?" Imam Hussein (a.s)

We conduct these events through generous support of various donors, and we warmly invite everyone to join us in responding to the call of Imam Hussein (A.S). Your support is crucial in helping us continue these important commemorations and further our mission of spreading his message.

Together, let us honor the memory of Imam Hussein (A.S) and reinforce the enduring values he stood for.
