Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania (BMMT) is committed to improving public health through several key initiatives. We partner with local and international organizations to organize free eye camps across Tanzania. These camps offer comprehensive services, including eye screening, cataract surgeries, eye prescriptions and spectacle, all provided free of charge by skilled professionals.
In addition, we organize regular blood donation drives, especially during the month of Muharram, to honor the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (a), the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w), who was martyred in Karbala. The collected blood is crucial for saving lives, particularly for pregnant women, accident victims, and patients with serious medical conditions.
